About the PTA

Making every child’s potential a reality

PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. At Columbine Elementary, we bring this mission to life by strengthening the bonds between families, teachers, and staff, and enriching our children’s school experience every day.

What we do

We support our school community through:

  • Organizing volunteers to assist with classroom projects and school-wide initiatives
  • Hosting community events that bring families together and celebrate our Columbine spirit
  • Raising funds to provide classroom grants and enhance extra-curricular activities
  • Advocating for all children and empowering families to be active partners in education
  • Building connections between home and school so parents and teachers can work together for every child’s success

Our values

Collaboration, commitment, diversity, respect, and accountability are core values of the Parent Teacher Association. These values guide everything we do at Columbine PTA as we work together to ensure every child has the support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Get involved

Everyone is welcome! Membership in the Columbine PTA is open to all parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and community members who care about our school. Whether you can volunteer weekly or attend just one event a year, your involvement makes a difference in a child’s life.

About our PTA

The Columbine PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, proudly affiliated with both the Colorado PTA and the National PTA. This means your contributions are tax-deductible and part of a powerful nationwide network of nearly 4 million members working on behalf of all children and youth.
