PLAYWORKS IS COMING TO COLUMBINE!

Thank you to the generosity of our community, the paraprofessional staff and select teachers will be participating in a 2-day workshop on Saturday August 17 and Friday September 6 to learn how to implement a healthy and inclusive recess program at Columbine.

Playworks va a venir a Columbine!

GRACIAS a la generosidad de nuestra comunidad, el personal para-profesional y maestras y maestros seleccionados van participar en talleres de 2 días, el Sábado 17 de Agosto y el Viernes 6 de Setiembre para aprender como implementar el programa saludable de juego durante los recreos en Columbine.

WE DID IT! 

We raised $1,020 to bring the Playworks Training Program to Columbine. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this wonderful program. Look for more information soon as the details get worked out.
It's not too late to make a donation. Any additional funds will be used to buy playground equipment to implement the workshop for our teachers with Playworks. Playworks' mission is to improve the health and well-being of children by increasing opportunities for physical activity and safe, meaningful play.

Please join the PTA and contribute today. Please make checks payable to Columbine PTA, put check or cash in an envelope, and send to school with your child. Please indicate in the memo area or on a separate note that the donation is for the Playworks training program.

Recaudamos $1,020 para el Programa de entrenamiento "Playworks" en Columbine. Gracias a todos los que dieron su contribucion para este maravilloso programa. Se proveera mas informacion en cuanto se definan los detalles. 

Todavia esta a tiempo para dar su donacion. Los fondos adicionales se utilizaran para la compra del equipo de juegos para facilitar la implementacion del programapara nuestros profesores con Playworks. La misión de Playworks es mejorar la salud y el bienestar de los niños al aumentar las oportunidades para la actividad física y el juego seguro, significativo. 
Por favor haga el cheque a nombre de Columbine PTA, deposítelo en un sobre (sea cheque o efectivo) y envíelo a la escuela con su hijo(a). Por favor indique en el sobre o en una nota aparte que es una donación para el programa de capacitación de Playworks.
